Sultan’s Thaduna Project, located 180km northeast of Meekatharra, in the emerging Thaduna exploration province, is prospective for gold, copper and other minerals. It comprises two granted tenements covering 22km².

The Thaduna tenements are sandwiched between Sandfire Resources’ (ASX: SFR) Thaduna/Green Dragon Copper-Gold deposit, and the Brumby and Contessa Gold prospects under exploration by Lodestar Minerals (ASX: LSR) and in JV with Vango Mining Limited (ASX: VAN). The Thaduna/Green Dragon Copper-Gold deposit has a resource of 8.2Mt at 1.8% Cu, 3.7g/t Ag for 150,000t of copper and 963,000oz of silver (ASX: SFR Announcement, 2017), and is located 10km southwest of Project area.

The Thaduna Project lies over the western and eastern bounding structures to the Yerrida Basin and Mooloogool Sub-basin.
Sultan plans to undertake aircore and/or deeper percussion drilling at Thaduna to determine the project’s potential to contain structurally-hosted gold mineralisation and/or VMS-style base metal mineralisation.
